Job Description:
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Hotel Reservation Agent to join our team at The Plaza Doha. As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for handling hotel reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring a seamless booking experience. You will work closely with our front desk and sales teams to provide exceptional customer service and maximize hotel occupancy.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Assist guests in making hotel reservations, providing accurate information about room availability, rates, and packages.
- Utilize the hotel’s reservation system to process bookings and update guest information.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to reservations.
- Collaborate with the front desk and sales teams to optimize hotel occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell to guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the reservation process.
- Keep records of reservation activities and generate reports as needed.
- Stay up to date with hotel policies, procedures, and special events to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Reservation Agent or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems or hotel property management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of local attractions, amenities, and transportation options to assist guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
