Social Responsibility and Accessibility Manager at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

 Led accessibility operational management for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, FIFA Arab Cup 2021 and FIFA Club World Cup 2020 overseeing the planning and execution of accessibility initiatives across all venues and event areas.
 Acted as a subject matter expert and developed a range of policies and procedures across all functional areas responsible for the delivery of services under their control.
 Worked closely with the stadium design team, architects, highway engineers, technical engineers, and facility management to provide advice, identified design solutions for all issues relating to infrastructure accessibility, and secured an inclusive tournament infrastructure that is accessible and welcoming to all participants, regardless of age, gender, ability, or background.
 Acted as the focal point for all accessibility-related topics faced by different functional areas such as Media, Broadcast, Security, Transport, Ticketing, Access Management, ITT, Guest Operation, Spectators Services, Technical Services, Overlay and Workforce to secure and deliver an inclusive tournament.
 Worked closely with venue management, security, access management, and ticketing to ensure seamless operation during match days.
 Ensured all overlay (temporary) structures within the stadiums’ outer security perimeter meet FIFA accessibility requirements.
 Liaised with all FIFA functional areas to ensure an inclusive spectator experience. This included spectators’ experience from arrival at the airport / public transport/car parking to their stadium seats.
 Worked closely with technical services and the Host Country to ensure infrastructure accessibility of all FIFA official sites, including 8 stadiums, the FIFA Fan Festival, Teams Training Sites, Media & Broadcast Centers, etc. for disabled spectators.
 Coordinated spectators service function area in respect of management and delivery Mobility Assistance Services within all 8 FIFA World Cup stadiums and 6 stadiums FIFA Arab Cup 2021 for the duration of tournaments.
 Delivered disability etiquette training to FIFA Volunteers/staff as well as several equality awareness briefing sessions to service managers and directors assisting them to deliver services under their responsibility in line with the event’s corporate policies and guidelines.
 Developed and implemented comprehensive accessibility plans and policies, ensuring compliance with disability rights legislation and international accessibility standards.
 Managed the procurement and deployment of assistive technologies, accessible seating, and other accessibility features to meet the diverse needs of disabled spectators, volunteers, and staff.

Provided advice, guidance and detailed technical aspect of inclusive design and its application on one of the largest European regeneration projects, Liverpool One, comprising over 30 individually designed buildings by 27 different architects all built around existing streets of Liverpool, each with a different character and design. In total, it comprised 160 shops, 14 screen cinemas, several restaurants and cafes, bars, 500 new apartments, two hotels, offices, a 5-acre park, car parks and a new public transport interchange. https://www.liverpool-one.com by:
