Duration: 6 months

Description: Friction Surfacing is a technique for depositing some materials like Hard facings, to improve the performance of an underlying metallic surface. The process involves rotating a solid consumable bar (Aluminum alloy) with one of its ends pressed hard against a substrate material (steel) as a plate or disc.

·         “Investigation of Heat transfer characteristics of helical coil heat exchangers”

Duration: 6 months

Description: Coil in coil type heat exchanger used for the project, Gambit and Fluent are the two software used for the project as drawing and analysis respectively and as a result it is found that the performance of heat exchanger is improved with the use of helical coil structure.
